USmax named 2012 Quality Service Partner and Small Business of the Year by General Dynamics Information Technology

USmax was recognized at an award ceremony held on September 13th, 2012, at General Dynamics Information Technology headquarters in Fairfax, VA. The award was presented by Dan Johnson, President of General Dynamics Information Technology. Receiving the award are David S. Pak, President & CEO and Sae Pak, Vice President for USmax Corporation.

General Dynamics Information Technology selected small business finalists from a pool of over 1,000 small business subcontractors it does business with throughout the 24,000 employee strong organization representing business lines that support the federal enterprise including Civilian and Homeland Security, DOD and Healthcare. From this pool, a total of 10 Quality Service Partners representing the TOP 1% of its small business subcontractors were selected for bronze and silver level QSP Partner and one firm selected as “QSP Partner of the Year”. USmax Corporation was recognized as the 2012 QSP Small Business Firm of the Year.

USmax was recognized for its subcontractor support at DHS for United States Coast Guard, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. It was also noted that in 2010, USmax was recognized by letter from Admiral Thad Allen, then National Incident Commander for USmax’s support of the Deepwater Horizon Disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.

The General Dynamics Quality Service Provider (QSP) Program uses an established quality rating system and an annual evaluation process to identify the highest-quality small business providers based on quality of work, timeliness, responsiveness, cost effectiveness and standards of conduct.
