Amy Lourenco

Human Resources Manager

Amy Lourenco is the Human Resources Manager at USmax.  She provides both strategic and operational leadership of the company’s HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, total rewards, and compliance.

With her no-nonsense style, Amy focuses on HR as a business function in support of strategic objectives and company growth.  This focus is tempered by her warm and empathetic demeanor that enables her to make each employee feel heard and valued.

Amy has more than 25 years of experience in Human Resources in a variety of fast-paced companies, including more than 10 years in government contracting.   Amy has a B.A. in Psychology from Emory University and a M.S. in Human Resources Management from Cornell University.  To ensure she keeps current, Amy maintains both Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designations.

Amy resides in Leesburg, VA, with husband Tony, son Andrew, and Black Labs Tesla & Nova.  In her spare time, she reads, volunteers for her synagogue, and searches for new and wonderful dining experiences with friends.
