  • Implementation of forensic email archiving solution enabling HHS-Office of Inspector General (OIG) to gather, store, and index every email and attachment sent to and from the organization.
  • Rapidly searchable and retrievable email archive that enables forensic analysis of HHS’ entire email history ready for court submission, if necessary.

U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)

USmax Corporation currently provides IT Help Desk services to USPTO. We previously provided network systems engineering and Security Operations Center (SOC) support for USPTO.

  • Implementation and integration of the USPTO Enterprise Role Based Access Control (RBAC) solution.
  • Implemented and performed engineering support for USPTO’s Enterprise Management Systems (EMS).
  • Designed and implemented a multi-gigabit consolidated firewall system capable of securing sensitive USPTO systems from attack by both external and internal threats.

DHS - Customs and Border Protection (CBP)

USmax Corporation provides security operations and engineering services for Department of Homeland Security CBP.

  • Provides security engineering and analyst support of CBP’s 24x7 network Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Identifies and assists in the resolution of computer security events.
  • Provides timely dissemination of information on countermeasures regarding identified threats, vulnerabilities, and advisories.

DHS - National Cyber Security Division (NCSD)

USmax Corporation provided analytic support services for National Cyber Security Division (NCSD) and the Government Forum of Incident Response Team (GFIRST).

  • Facilitated participation and collaboration in the GFIRST portal.
  • Conducted security research.
  • Provided new tools and technologies available to the incident response community and explained how they could be utilized by GFIRST.
  • Provided white papers on specific areas of interest to the GFIRST community.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)

USmax Corporation provided network management and security services for the Network Operations Center (NOC), and facility management services support for the Building Management Branch (BMB).

  • NOC: Infrastructure management; helpdesk, troubleshooting and customer interface; monitoring and reporting; troubleshooting; and security.
  • BMB: Managed space requirements for approximately 1.8 million square feet of NOAA National Capital Region offices to include all six (6) NOAA Line and sixteen (16) staff Offices. Services included space planning, design, and systems furniture reconfiguration.

DHS - United States Coast Guard (USCG)

USmax Corporation provides Information Assurance and Configuration Management services to the USCG Operations Systems Center (OSC) in Martinsburg, WV and Kearneysville, WV. USmax also provides IT Help Desk services for USCG Telecommunications & Information Systems Command (TISCOM).

  • Performs IA & CM services on more than 70 business systems at the OSC and two additional systems at the USCG Financial Center.
  • Responsible for Remote Information Systems support to USCG offices and vessels situated in classified/unclassified locations worldwide.
  • Help Desk support including Microsoft Exchange Server, Network, and Email administration.
